What’s worse, is that no one would have known except for a ‘chatty cathy’ fellow classmate who snitched to her favorite gossip rags and they told the world.

Television and radio legend Wink Martindale was Master of Ceremonies, and the event included a fashion show featuring the stunning Fall 2011 collection of Oscar de la Renta. The internationally renowned designer appeared in person to present his close friend, former First Lady Nancy Reagan, with this year’s Champion of Children award.

40th Annual Beastly Ball
Attendees recently gathered at the Los Angeles Zoo for the 40th Annual Beastly Ball, presented by the Greater Los Angeles Zoo Association (GLAZA), which for more than four decades has successfully supported the Los Angeles Zoo and Botanical Gardens as an international leader in the preservation of endangered species and a conservation center for the care and study of wildlife.
Sir Elton John, Jane Goodall, Jay Leno, Sandra Bullock, Alex Trebek, Michael Feinstein and Jamie Lee Curtis were among the co-chairs honoring long-time supporter Betty White. NCIS star Pauley Perrette served as the evening’s MC.

The Foundation, part of the Jewish Community Foundation Los Angeles, recently hosted a special evening honoring The Jewish Community Foundation’s Recent Cutting Edge Grant recipients and Rabbi Sharon Brous of IKAR, who received the Inspired Leadership Award. The award recognizes an outstanding professional leader whose vision is “transforming the Los Angeles Jewish community.”
